More to a queen than I thought

My heart beats at the speed
Of a raging dragon
Flying through the clouds,
But there is only destruction
Where my demons
Sit and hide
Beneath my skull
I sit in a meadow
With no thorns or bugs being
A bother,
And I take a breath
With my shining smile
Glimmering with the sun;
I feel like a petunia,
Soft and flowing with the wind
Not only do I flow with the breeze
But so does my gown,
Sewn with love,
Not with factory machines;
I come face to face with my fears
And place my crown on my head,
Then suddenly,
They dissolve into thin air
They may only dissolve,
But they are weakened,
And that is what makes me a queen
It's nice to have a knight in shining armor searching for me on horseback,
Or a prince kissing the back of my hand,
But I don't need one
I am my own knight,
My own prince,
My own queen,
And I carry the heart of a dragon
With the spirit of a sweetheart
